English Language Challenges

I start by mentioning that for me to learn english has never been something unpleasant or something that I dislike, since I was very young, I have always loved the language, learning more, speaking it and listening to music, which is also where I think I have learnt the most. Among the things that have always cost me a little more in english, is the use of different verb tenses when speaking fluently with someone else and the use of a wider and higher vocabulary that I would like to incorporate as well.

I also believe that the most effective way to learn English, but at the same time the most complex, is through conversation, which I think is the most effective way to practice fluency and speed, as well as pronunciation if you are speaking with a native speaker, in order to have more similarities with the language you are speaking.

In the course of this course I haven't really found it that difficult, but I think that speaking during classes and also writing the blogs can help us with spelling and writing which is also very different from our native language, which we speak all day and every day since we were born, so it is difficult to acquire a new way of speaking and expressing ourselves both verbally and in writing.

  1. I also think that the best way to learn English is by having conversations. I try to found spaces to do that all the time. In fact, I have some friends that also like English and drama (which is gonna be my major) and we transcribe dialogues from series or movies, we learn them and then we play them. We help each other that way to improve our English, especially in terms of pronunciation.
