English Language Challenges

I start by mentioning that for me to learn english has never been something unpleasant or something that I dislike, since I was very young, I have always loved the language, learning more, speaking it and listening to music, which is also where I think I have learnt the most. Among the things that have always cost me a little more in english, is the use of different verb tenses when speaking fluently with someone else and the use of a wider and higher vocabulary that I would like to incorporate as well. I also believe that the most effective way to learn English, but at the same time the most complex, is through conversation, which I think is the most effective way to practice fluency and speed, as well as pronunciation if you are speaking with a native speaker, in order to have more similarities with the language you are speaking. In the course of this course I haven't really found it that difficult, but I think that speaking during classes and also writing the blogs can help us ...

Changes to my study programme

First of all, I'm not sure what this topic is about, but regarding the curriculum of my career, if that's what it's about, it's worth mentioning that we are the second generation of actors that will leave this university after a change in the curriculum of the career. I believe that it takes years for a curriculum to become established and to function optimally. In the case of this course, I think that the best possible management and organisation has not been done, I think there are still many shortcomings and the old curriculum has not been changed in practice, but the names of the subjects have been changed and many things have been taken out that in my opinion were important for an actor or actress to know. I also believe that it is not only about changing the curriculum, but also about renewing teaching practices and those who teach the subjects. There are many professors who continue to teach just because they have been at the university for many years, and altho...

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

As I had already mentioned in a previous blog, at this point in my life, I think that in the future I would like to dedicate myself to something other than acting as such, so after finishing my degree, I would like to specialise in something related, such as art direction and photography. The ideal for me would be to leave the country to study, since here both careers that I mention do not exist to be studied in a university or institute, and what interests me is to learn both as a career. At the moment, the options I have in mind are Argentina, the United States or a country in Europe.  And thinking about some postgraduate studies, lately I have been very interested in psychology applied to theatre, or rather in theatre as a means to treat mental health, so I would really like a master's degree or diploma related to that subject.
